Neem acts to relieve the localized pain receptors, reduce inflammation and kill bacteria that can cause earaches.
Neem will treat eczema eruptions and infections in the ear channel.
Treatment.
Care must be must be taken when treating the ear channel as permanent damage can result from even minor mishaps. Neem oil or leaf extract is the product of choice. Do not dropper anything into the ear without a full examination as irreparable damage can be caused if the subject has a perforated eardrum. (even water) A cotton bud soaked in Neem oil or leaf extract will treat areas around the entrance to the ear. For more inaccessible or deeper areas insert a cotton wool plug soaked in oil, and leave for 2-3 mins and replace with another plug using leaf extract as this will evaporate and reach the inner areas. Remove excess oil/extract and be sure to use only damp plugs.
