Neem is a most effective gum disease treatment - the two most common forms of gum disease are Gingivitis and Periodontitis. Gingivitis involves inflammation and/or infection that results in destruction of the tissues that support the teeth, including the gingiva (gums), the periodontal ligaments, and the tooth sockets (alveolar bone).

Periodontitis (Pyorrhea is an advanced stage of gum (periodontal) disease that can result in the loss of your teeth. Untreated, periodontitis will progress until your teeth loosen and fall out.

Officially UK boasts no cure for gum disease and dentists recommend extensive brushing in efforts to keep control.

Whilst trial results in other countries have proved the curative powers of Neem on gum disease these claims cannot be made in the UK until tests have been completed here.

In a German study of 70 patients with pyorrhea of varying stages, after just 5 to 10 treatments with a neem-based toothpaste and mouthwash there was significant improvement.

Bleeding gums had healed and the secretion from pockets around the teeth had stopped. The bluish colored gums returned to a healthy pale pink color
(Zeppenfeldt, undated).

Neem bark extracts can reduce the ability of some streptococci to colonize tooth surfaces (Wolinsky and Mania, 1996), (Patel and Venkatakrishna, 1988). Gingivitis has been prevented or even reversed with regular use of neem toothpaste and mouthwash (Elvin-Lewis, 1980).

One person even reported a reversal of the loss of gum tissue by chewing fresh neem leaves. Scientists believe that antibacterial compounds and neem's ability to improve the immune response in the gums and tissues of the mouth account for these results.

To date dentists have recommended different toothbrushes and toothpastes etc but in our experience these methods have produced very little if any effect. We have willingly offered dentists (free of charge) treatment packs and only two out of 50 took up the offer. The one is a very eminent UK dentist and we are in negotiations at this time to enable him to join our company. This practice has had quite dramatic results with gum disease and ulcerations. We do not believe we have the best treatment for gum disease, we believe we have the only effective treatment. One of the first noticeable signs of gum disease is bleeding gums, and if this does not diminish considerably or cease within 10 days we will give a full refund.

Neem's pain-relieving compounds will reduce the discomfort of a toothache. The vasodilation and anti-inflammatory compounds will reduce the pressure on nerves that can cause the toothache.
Brushing with neem toothpaste after every meal and using a mouthwash with neem extract is recommended treatment for preventing and correcting gingivitis.

Trials were conducted on six long term patients suffering from ulcerations over a 2/3 week period (Christmas 2003) and results were conclusive. Every mouth was clear. On advice from dental profession we now post a warning on literature advising that although discomfort has disappeared, if ulceration is still evident a dentist must be consulted as this lesion could be caused by something with serious consequences unless treated immediately.

Sensitive Teeth

Neem contains one of the strongest natural analgesics known, results will be very apparent within 4-5 Days.

Plaque

One of the amazing traits of Neem is its ability to prevent cell adhesion and hence with regular use plaque becomes evident in only very small amounts.

Tooth Cavities

Bacteria boring through tooth enamel cause majority of cavities. Neem kills these bacteria.
