The basis of the Neem 40 family of products. Neem 40 pure oil is extracted ( cold pressed ) from the seed nuts of the tree. It has been common knowledge for many years of the dramatic effects of Neem oil in almost every area of daily life but, unfortunately its general characteristics have made this product unpleasant to use. Neem has a pungent odour similar to onion soup, it freezes ( to a wax ) at 18 degrees and degrades in Ultra Violet light. The main deterrent for bodily use is the odour. The degradation caused by U. V. Needs to be addressed only if used in gardening as the active life of Neem 40 is still viable for 7-10 days even in the strongest sunlight.
